After successful drop-off at Crymea NATO managed to take control over entire Crimean peninsula, capture a lot of Soviet aircrafts and weapons, part of which were used in operations during the 1st stage of conflict. Other part was taken for reserve and shipped out to Turkish coast, leftovers were destroyed on the ground, so soviets couldn't use them. NATO had reinforcements on the way for strengthening military presense at Crymea and prepare for further invasion into USSR territory.

Soviet Union while being captured by surprise and loosing Crimea, reacted strongly and hard after. USSR forces prepared powerful attack just in time of armored vehicles unshipping, so major part of reinforcements were destroyed being not able to fire back, and the rest left territorial waters of Crimea. NATO forces in peninsula were defeted, however Soviet forces exhausted by cleaning Crimea were unable to pursue retreated enemy with spoils of war.
